Here are the finished DCs that I’ve been putting off finishing talking about.  I did manage to make them exponentially less shitty than before, but they are still flawed.  I overlooked the original drop crotch pants (read: oversized sweats) as my starting pattern and because of that, they are a little…weird.  Nevertheless, I wore them successfully at work, and by successfully, I mean without reference to me wearing a diaper of some sort.

I don’t know why, but I’ve been on a baggy/oversized/hella droopy kick.  When I went to my #1 thrift spot, I ended up getting three oversized knitted sweaters (see above) with every intention of wearing them this week.  Unfortunately, the temperature is creeping back up and that definitely isn’t going to happen.  This may be a good thing, as I was supposed to have Muze’s sweater finished a long time ago (remember project: knockoff Alexander Wang?  Me neither).

I found the sweater, Muze!!! When I get some proper netting, I won’t have an excuse.  LOL.

Outside of finishing these, not a whole lot is going on in my world.  Except my cat (LITERALLY) attacking me last night.  And the prospect of one of Arabelle’s lucky packs.  And anticipating the arrival of my new ring.  And those stiletto creepers.  Damn right I got them.  You knew it was coming.

So bad.  I know.

In other news, I’ve decided to switch my obsession with those Chloe boots to the pursuit of an SLR camera.  Quite possibly a Nikon D series.  If you haven’t noticed, my lowly Cyber-shot is starting to crap out and take very fuzzy pictures.  Not cool.  I figured setting an attainable goal involving an item that I can save up cash toward would give me some sort of control when it comes to the impulse shopping I am famous for.

Or not. It’s fun to dream, no?
