Skirts Up
Well, almost. It’s hella windy this week.
vintage jacket, AA U-neck dress, handmade skirt, vintage Bruno Valenti wingtips
I’m with MollyCake; there is no way in hell that I am ever going to be able to wear this AA dress on it’s own. No. Freakin. Way. I would like to blame it on my booty, but really, the dress is just short. Not a bad thing (and possibly quite cute) on a smaller frame, but extra umm, hooker-ish on me. Definitely a no-go if I plan on leaving the house. LOL.

Mom came to visit me at work today. About a half hour passed after she left and someone came by my desk.
Your mom is really nice.
Thanks!
Is she single?
*pause* Yeah.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Note to all of my single, male coworkers: No, you cannot pop at/try to woo/date my mother and, by extension, wish to be my new “dad.”
Ever.

MORE CONTESTERY – Krystal of What is Reality Anyway is hosting a giveaway of her own featuring a supercool tiger cropped tee by Wildfox Couture [via ChickDowntown]. Apparently I’ve been missing out on great stuff that ChickDowntown has to offer (call it a combination of spendthriftiness and…umm…a non-designer budget; LOL). Check out the site anyway. We all can dream.
My blog’s new home is up; you should go there.
Talk about a hot momma. Literally!
hmmm , i wore that dress alone with loubs in a photo shoot for a style section of a newspaper, not as a blogger, but as a real person, (pre-blog days)…
you look really good here!
Love the outfit and it’s okay to have a hot mama
Your co-worker has some nerve, LOL… And, I think this outfit looks great on you, *nods* seriously.
That dress is cute. Makes the legs looks hot. You go girl.
dammm!
it’s not so much the shortness, the tightness, the low cutness… it’s that all these things have a way of inching up and becoming more short, more tight, more lowcut. Whoa. It will stay a layering piece for me, for sure. Looks great with that skirt!
Hahahaha, from the pictures you posted, your Mom’s a totally hot, so I understand. Still, I would be creeped out too.
xxx,
Tiffany
ya the wind is a bit intense…especially when carting around about a million pieces of fabric and pattern paper and boxes and books and ugh. haha
but i LOVE LOVE LOVE your gams and brogues.
